Pulsatilla is useful in treating a wide range of women’s health
problems, especially a brief, changeable, delayed or lack of
menstrual flow, accompanied by acute pain. It can help women who suffer from premenstrual syndrome.
During pregnancy it can help to overcome stress incontinence, exhaustion, indigestion and morning sickness. Pulsatilla also acts on the uterine muscles and often helps to turn a breech baby during labor.
This remedy is also useful in treating sinusitis, where the symptoms include piercing pains and tenderness of the face and sinuses, headaches, tearfulness and abnormal breathing.
It can be used to treat eye infections, especially those with greenish discharges, as well as conjunctivitis, styes and any sensitivity of the eyes in general.
Pulsatilla is often used to treat colds and coughs which are marked by a runny or congested nose along with a dense yellowish-green mucous discharge, reduced senses of taste and smell
